Description
A rare Meissen porcelain tureen and cover from the celebrated Swan Service, the body modeled in low relief with swans among bulrushes, the cover surmounted by a swan finial. The Swan Service, originally created for Count Heinrich von Brühl, is among the most important porcelain services ever produced.

Minor professional restoration to rim of cover. Small chip to one handle restored. Blue crossed swords mark to base.
