Rooster (state 2 – black and yellow)

About this piece

Bob Stanley (1932–1997) was a New York Pop-era painter known for translating photographs and commercial imagery into bold, flat color. The second state of his 1979 Rooster portfolio adds soft yellow to the tail and body, warming the black line drawing of the rooster on its fence rail. Artwork is sold unframed. The frame shown is for display purposes only and is not included.
