About this piece

Gino Scarpa (1924–2022) was a Venetian-born painter, sculptor and printmaker who settled in Oslo and became known for relief prints that use metal foils to catch light and shadow. In this print a band of embossed silver foil runs between black bars, interrupted by a torn-looking flash of red. Artwork is sold unframed. The frame shown is for display purposes only and is not included.
