Untitled (Black Disc)

About this piece

Giò Pomodoro (1930–2002), younger brother of Arnaldo, was an Italian sculptor known for tense, billowing surfaces in bronze and marble. This 1964 print centers on a dense black disc whose interior swirls with white gestures, like a surface pulled taut. Artwork is sold unframed. The frame shown is for display purposes only and is not included.
