Inquire for price(561) 987-7200Haku Maki (1924–2000) was a self-taught Japanese sōsaku-hanga printmaker celebrated for his embossed prints of stylized kanji, built from cement relief on woodblocks. In this print from his Poem series, a bold black form encloses a pale disc and rows of yellow and black marks, an abstracted reading of the character for rain. Artwork is sold unframed. The frame shown is for display purposes only and is not included.
