Lisel Salzer (1906–2005) was a Vienna-trained portrait painter and enamelist who fled to New York in 1939 and later settled in Seattle. This elegant fashion study shows a slender woman in a long black gown with a lace bodice, set on a soft peach ground. Artwork is sold unframed.
