Sure

About this piece

Suzanne McClelland is a New York painter known for turning spoken words and their sounds into gestural abstraction. In Sure (1991), charcoal and earthy clay wash spread outward across the linen in a large, explosive black-and-white form. Artwork is sold unframed. The frame shown is for display purposes only and is not included.
